CERT in Indonesia

CERT team training

From the 12th to the 21st of August 2019 we had the opportunity to provide and supervise Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to the Alpha and Omega Foundation in Jakarta, Indonesia, in partnership with Humedica International Aid.

During this time we were able to hold a three-day CERT course for twelve participants, a two-day Training of Trainers instructor course and then four of the instructors taught a three-day CERT course in the Indonesian Bahasa language for 15 participants from the Alpha and Omega NGO. All three events were very well received and we are looking to the continued development of the contextualised CERT programme by our Indonesian partners.

There are photos of this course available on Paul’s blog (link will open in a new tab).
